Lusungu Mtonga is a seasoned legal practitioner with 10 years of extensive experience across various fields of law, including commercial, administrative, employment, property law, corporate law, contract law, and tax law. At the postgraduate level, Lusungu specialized in Company Law, Corporate Governance, Labour Law, Competition Law, Commercial Arbitration, and International Trade Law. He holds a Master of Laws (LLM) from the University of Cape Town and is an alumnus of the MasterCard Foundation Scholarship. Lusungus career includes serving as a principal associate at Savjani and Co, where he built a reputation for strategic and effective legal counsel. Beyond his practice, Lusungu has made significant contributions to legal education as a former lecturer at the University of Malawi and currently at the Catholic University of Malawi. Alexander Chibayo is an integral part of M&L Partners, bringing his expertise in litigation, commercial law, property law, corporate law, contract law, and employment law. Alexander graduated at the top of his class with a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) degree from the University of Malawi, Chancellor College. He was the sole recipient of the Deans Award for outstanding academic performance during his 4th year of law school in 2020, achieving a distinction level GPA of 3.81 despite demanding academic pressures. In his formative years after admission, Alexander gained invaluable experience working under the tutelage and supervision of lawyers at Nicholls & Brookes in Lilongwe and Destone & Company in Blantyre. Francis Kalonga- Associate

Francis has six years post-qualification experience and has worked on a wide range of matters, delivering successful outcomes for clients. His experience includes litigation in commercial, employment, debt collection and personal injury matters; providing legal advisory services; conducting due diligence; and registration of business entities. Francis has also handled family and domestic relations matters including divorce, domestic and international adoption of children, custody and maintenance of children.
Before joining the firm, Francis worked as an Associate at DNC Chambers, a legal intern at Mvalo and Company in Lilongwe. Prior to that, he worked as a Candidate Attorney at Mhishi Nkomo Legal Practice in Harare, Zimbabwe. Francis is committed to professional development and has attended various trainings including the Raul Wallenburg Institute for Human Rights, the prestigious trial advocacy training facilitated by the Justice Advocacy Africa and several Continuing Professional Development programs organized by the Malawi Law Society. Francis is currently a faculty member of Justice Advocacy Africa, contributing to enhancing trial advocacy skills using the learning by doing method.

Emmanuel Moya is dynamic and results-oriented Legal Associate. Emmanuel graduated from the Catholic University of Malawi with an LLB in 2021. He is admitted to practice law in the Supreme Court of Malawi, the High Court of Malawi and all Courts subordinate to the High Court.
